  • USE ALREADY WITH A VERB IN THE AFFIRMATIVE TO EXPLAIN THAT SOMETHING HAPPENED AT AN UNESPECIFIED TIME IN THE PASS.

  • USE YET IN QUESTIONS TO ASK IF SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED BEFORE NOW.

  • USE YET OR STILL IN NEGATIVE SENTENCES TO SAY THAT SOMETHING HAS NOT HAPPENED.

  • USE THE PAST SIMPLE TO TALK ABOUT ACTION AT A SPECIFIC TIME IN THE PAST.
  • USE THE PRESENT PERFECT WHEN WE DON'T SAY EXACTLY WHEN THE ACTION HAPPENED. 
  • USE THE PRESENT PERFECT WHEN AN ACTION STARTED IN THE PAST AND CONTINUES IN THE PRESENT.
